Christopher Fielder grew up in a small town north of Dallas, Texas by the name of Gainesville, population of about 16,000. He attended TarletonStateUniversity in Stephenville, Texas on a full music scholarship. His sales career started early when he realized that if he could sell himself then he could sell anything. At the young age of 21, he started his first real sales job as an Account Executive or Road Salesman (nickname from the industry) with Caldwell Music Company, Inc. out of Abilene, Texas. As a road salesman with Caldwell he traveled West and Central Texas calling on high schools and small businesses to build a relationship for repeat business. As a music major and accomplished percussionist, he was named to the largest Drum Corporations in the world as one of 14 field clinicians. This company was the Ludwig Corporation where he performed and taught clinics to marching drum lines across the state. Christopher spent the first six years of his sales career with Caldwell as well as maintaining his relationship and clinician status with Ludwig. After leaving Caldwell Music Company, Christopher opened his own business. He and a partner opened and operated a chain of four convenience stores in the Corpus Christi and the Dallas area specializing in tobacco and cigars. In a matter of only three years the business grew to gross sales of over two million a year. Christopher refined his sales skills by understanding the retail market as well as what small business owners can expect. The stores were sold off to his partner and to this day are still in operation. After the role of business owner Christopher went back to his sales roots. He took a leasing and finance job with Dell Financial Services L.P., which is a captive leasing company for Dell Computer Corporation in Austin, Texas. Christopher has remained at the top of his field. With Several promotions in less than a year Christopher quickly outgrew DFS and continued his career in the leasing and finance realm as a broker for TEAM Equipment Leasing, Inc. He maintains a top sales performance through the selling aspects related to in his book. He has negotiated million dollar deals and ultimately contributes to the bottom line of the company. TEAM Equipment Leasing, Inc is a small company where Christopher can work with his sales skills. His attitude has helped him to adjust quickly. Christopher is the Director of Sales and practices and teaches the skills and techniques found in this book. He has put together a sales team that has out preformed the sales objectives and increased the bottom line by over 40% growth a year. He shares his life with his wife, MaShon, daughter Hailey and son Christian. Christopher contributes his successful career to the support of his family and his strong Christian beliefs. He believes in an overall mix of family and work and the idea that there is life beyond the workday. Christopher is available for speaking engagements and believes in measuring performance by results. He brings with him over fourteen years of sales and leasing experience and can enhance any sales team with his simple approach to becoming the best sales person possible. |
